The Advice of Noah, Peace Be upon Him, on His Deathbed to His Sons!

Abdullah ibn Amr narrated that Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him said): "When Noah was at his deathbed, he summoned two of his sons and addressed them as follows: "O my sons! I order you to do two things and prohibit you from doing two things. One of the things I order you is to say, "la ilaha illa Allah (There is no god worthy of worship but Allah)". For, if the earth, skies and all of the creatures in them were to be placed in one scale of a balance and ‘la ilaha illa Allah’ (testimony of faith) were to put in the other scale, 'la ilahah illah Allah’ would outweigh. If the earth, skies and all of the creatures in them were brought together and ‘la illaha illa Allah’ were placed on them, they would collapse and be broken. I also order you to say "subhan Alllahi wa behamdihi" (Glory be to Allah and Praise be to Him)" because it is the prayer for everything. All creation is given their sustenance thanks to it. I forbade you from polytheism and conceitedness." He said: O Allah’s Messenger. We know polytheism, what is conceitedness? He asked: Is it when someone has two good sandals with two good upper parts? He said: No. He asked: Is it when someone has friends to sit with? He said: No. It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what is conceitedness? He said: Belittling the truth, and despising people."

It means to ignore and disregard what is right, and to despite people and belittle their status.
