This is the best you can present to your Lord on your way to Friday Prayer!

Since Allah commanded the believers to give charity before consulting the Prophet, Peace Be upon Him, then giving charity before praying to Allah is of more priority and worthy of merit.

Giving charity on Friday is better than giving charity on other days. Ibn al-Qayim said: Giving charity on Friday in comparison to giving it on the rest of the weekdays is like giving charity in Ramadan in comparison to the rest of the months.

He said: I saw Shaikh al-Islam ibn Taymayah when he would go to pray on Friday taking everything in the house such as bread etc., and he would give it as charity on his way while walking.

Ibn Abbas narrated that Abu Hurirah and Ka'ab were together when Abu Hurirah said: "There is a time on Friday at which a Muslim, while he (or she) is performing Salat and is supplicating, will be granted whatever he (or she) is supplicating for."

Ka'ab said: "And giving charity on Friday is better than giving it on any other day of the week” Zad al-Ma'ad (1/395)

So choose for yourself what you would present before the Lord!
